Bu çalışma Michel Foucault’nun iktidar sosyolojisini ele almakta, iktidar
teorilerini Foucault’nun bakışıyla eleştiriye açmaktadır. İktidar mefhumunu
analizinde statik makro çatışmacı ya da uzlaşmacı tanımlamalardan kaçan Foucault,
modern iktidarın üretici mantığına vurgu yaparak toplumsalın bedenine nüfuz etmiş
liberal kapitalist değerlerin varlığını tarihsel iktidar analizleriyle ortaya
koymaktadır. Bu bakımdan çalışma Foucault’nun iktidar analizi olan pastoral iktidar
(premodern öncesi iktidar modeli), disiplinci iktidar ve biyoiktidar
kavramsallaştırmaları etrafında ilerlemektedir. Modern tarihin rasyonel aklını
iktidar bağlamıyla düşünen Foucault, analiz ettiği iktidar modelleriyle iktidarın mikro
mantığını ortaya koymuş ve modern tarihin baskıcı ve uysal bedenleri inşa edici
yönünü analiz etmiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışma Foucault’nun modern iktidar yapılarına
ve aklına nasıl yaklaştığını göstermeye çalışmakta, kavramsal sınırlılıklarını
Foucault’nun literatürüyle çerçevelemektedir. Modern iktidarın yeni bir vehçesi olan
neoliberal iktidar aklı bu çalışmanın dışında bırakılmıştır.
Abstract
This study deals with the sociology of power of Michel Foucault, and opens the
theories of power to criticism from Foucault's point of view. Fleeing static macroconfrontational or compromising definitions in the analysis of the concept of power,
Foucault reveals the existence of liberal capitalist values that have penetrated the
body of the social by emphasizing the productive logic of modern power through
historical power analyzes. In this respect, the study proceeds around the concepts of
pastoral power (pre-premodern power model), disciplinary power and biopower,
which is Foucault's analysis of power. Thinking of the rational mind of modern history with the context of power, Foucault has revealed the micro logic of power and
analyzed the oppressive and submissive aspects of modern history. In this context, the
study tries to show how Foucault approached modern power structures and his mind,
frame his conceptual limitations with Foucault's literature. In this study, neoliberal
power, which is a new tool of modern power, was excluded from the study.
